Fizz n Flour started at home, during lockdown. With the world on pause, we did the one thing that always brought us together: we made pizza. Slow-fermented dough, stretched by hand on the kitchen worktop, stone-baked and shared with the people we love. What began as a way to get through a strange year quickly turned into something we could not put down.
We are a family-run business, through and through. Every recipe, every late night perfecting the dough, every call about what makes the menu, it is all us. As word spread and the orders grew, we took the leap from our home kitchen to a place of our own: a warm little restaurant in the heart of Canton, on Cowbridge Road East.
What we wanted to build was simple. A friendly neighbourhood place where friends and family come together over great food and drinks. Somewhere you are welcomed like a regular on your first visit, where the pizzas are made to order and the table is yours for as long as you want it.
Today, Fizz n Flour has become a favourite among Cardiff pizza lovers, and we are only just getting started. Slow-fermented dough, stone-baked pizza, proper cocktails and a room that hums on a Friday night. Pull up a chair, you are one of the family now.
